Our Story: A Passion for Care & Community

With 15 years of experience as a registered nurse, my passion has always been advocating for adults with disabilities and ensuring they receive the respect, care, and opportunities they deserve. A Friend of Mine isn’t just our name—it’s our promise. 

As Friend is my own last name, it reflects our belief that everyone who walks through our doors should be treated like family. Here, friendship means community, support, and belonging, because everyone deserves to feel valued—not just for their abilities, but for who they are. 

Beyond my professional life, I enjoy traveling, crafting, and spending time with family and friends. Meeting new people and embracing diverse experiences fuels my belief that community is built on kindness, understanding, and shared moments.
